Quantum Solutions commences the sale of QDot™ PbS quantum dot n-type ink (n-ink) for SWIR Photodetectors and Image Sensors.
[Southampton, 30.09.2023] — Quantum Solutions is delighted to introduce the QDot™ PbS quantum dot n-type ink (n-ink), specifically designed for manufacturing high-efficiency SWIR (short-wave infrared) photodiodes and image sensors. The ink simplifies the fabrication process of quantum dot SWIR sensors by eliminating the need for complex solid ligand exchange procedures. It allows for the easy creation of a thick and smooth quantum dot absorber layer, up to 100 nm, using techniques like spin-coating. The ink also enables cost-effective production as it requires only a small volume for coating large wafers, making it a practical choice for scaling up production processes in the SWIR photodiodes and image sensors industry.
