Quantum Solutions introduced Q.Fly^® Solar at Solar & Storage Live 2024, ahead of its upcoming launch. Coming as an end-to-end aerial EL inspection service , Q.Fly Solar will set a new benchmark for solar asset assessment.

Using drone-mounted electroluminescence (EL) imaging, Q.Fly^® Solar reveals cracks, stress, and solder faults invisible to RGB and thermal inspection. Capturing full panel strings in seconds, it delivers high-throughput, repeatable data across utility-scale sites.

During the event, the team ran a live demonstration showcasing real-time EL inspection. Incredibly, our camera revealed that the newly delivered demo panel was already covered with hidden microcracks. The damage was instantly clear through the live SWIR feed.

Launching soon as an end-to-end service, Q.Fly^® Solar unites aerial EL inspection and AI-driven analysis to deliver faster decisions and lower risk throughout the solar asset lifecycle.
